It snowed today and it looks like winter...so I decided this would be the cards I would post today. This uses stamps from the Heartfelt Creations, Christmas Cheer Collection. I colored it with Copic markers and cut out the bell with their matching die. The crystal glitter gives the snowy look and then I used the notebook embossing folder from Tim Holtz on the background for an added interest.

Here's a peek at the new Classic Christmas Collection from Heartfelt Creations! I used the Book Frame 1 Set that matches the Spellbinders Label 7 die set. I love the Heartfelt Creations poinsettia flowers. These make great accents to cards and scrapbook pages! I stamped the poinsettias and colored them with the Copic Markers. I like the R46 and R59 for the deep red color. I colored the entire flowers with the R46. I wasn't careful to stay in the line, because I was just going to cut them out with the die anyway. We have added another class to our September schedule. This Friday, September 9th at 1:00, we are having a Mini Magnolia class with some of our new dies from Pop Up! This first card features the PopUp sentiments on the inside of the card. Here is a frame I picked up at Goodwill. I saw it on the shelf and had just the thing in mind for it! First I painted it black to better display the flowers. Here I used my chocolate bunny, but instead of coloring him the traditional way, I used a negative mask and sponged the bunny with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and the sponge applicator. I am having fun with the new Microfine Glitter from Elizabeth Craft. Using the Be Creative tape on the background. Once the liner tape is removed, you can use the liner to cut or punch shapes to mask images. On the sample below, I punched out snowflakes and put the masks back on the tape. What a crazy summer! I feel like I am going bananas!! I did a two-in-one challenge today. I choose this weeks sketch from Friday Sketchers for this card. First, I stamped my Calico Cat from Stamp Shoppe Creations and the Bird's nest from Memory Box. Then colored all the images with Copics. I then, cut out the nest and popped it on the tree branch after I stenciled clouds in the background. Here's a Cute Card Thursday sketch! I decided that this lion had to be on this card. For the swirls and embellishments, I used the jungle leaves and some prima flowers. (All stamps are Stamp Shoppe Creations) I colored Leo with copic markers and added some highlights with the Signo white gel pen. The cordinating papers are by Scrap within Reach. Thanks for looking!

Here I used the down and out bear from Stamp Shoppe Creations. I then masked him and stamped the trees and leaves from Memory Box behind him to create a forest scene. Then I colored everything with Copic Markers. I stamped the mischiveous squirell from Memory Box, colored him and cut him out. Then I popped him up on the bear's back. The tag was made from the Spellbinders Fancy tags. I

Cute Card Thursday has a boyz to men card challenge this week. I thought that my Dude would be perfect for the teenager in your life! I colored him in with Copics and distressed around the edges to lessen the "white" space. I used the tire cuttlebug folder for the background and used the Happy Birthday Dude Sentiment.

Here's my Midnight Madness card for their blogaversary. Congratulations Priscilla and the DT for a year of great inspiration and over 1750 followers...WOW! I rotated this sketch to fit my walrus image. Then I used some of the new Tim Holtz On Edge dies for the extra strips of paper. Adding some swirls, pearls, ribbon and a tag...adds so much interest. I am doing two challenges in one today. This layout was done by following the sketch you see below, from this weeks Mojo Monday challenge. I stamped my "Holy Cow" and colored her in with Copic Markers. Then I cut out the sentiment with the new Mega oval Nestabilities. This little dophin was inspired by those we saw at Sea World a month ago. She's a new stamp from Stamp Shoppe Creations and colored with Copic Markers. Using the sketch from the Friday Sketchers challenge, we made this card. The center strip was embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder and distressed on the edges. Wow! I am finally back and doing a challenge again! When I saw this Midnight Madness Sketch, I knew exactly what stamp I wanted to use. This mermaid image is a new, hot off the press, stamp from Stamp Shoppe Creations. She is colored with Copic Markers and accented with the Spica pens to add a little "glitz". It's raining outside and it's a good day to stamp. Here is one of the new stamps that was just released from Stamp Shoppe Creations. I used Copics to color him in and used some green to shade in some grass. Then I rounded the corners of the image and matted it on green cardstock. We now have in the new Dustin Pike stamps. All these images are so Cute!!! I used paper from October Afternoon in the background and then I used the green crinkle paper for the ground for these guys to stand on.
