A bench for All Seasons

Winter: I stamped the bench from Whiff of Joy and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I added "snow" with the Snow Marker from Marvy. Add glitter while wet, then heat from the back side to dry and cause the snow to puff up. I used new Christmas paper from My Mind's Eye. The Layout was inspired from a Mojo Monday Sketch. The cardinal was cut out from the decorator paper.
Spring: Here I stamped the bench and colored it with Copics again. Then I used the Art Impressions grass to stamp around the bench. Then stamped the flowers on white cardstock. Masking the flowers, I then stamped the pot from Art Impressions to make it look like the flowers are in the pot. After coloring the flowers, I cut it out and popped it up. The Sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and then cut with a nestabilities die. Leaving the nesties on the paper, I sponged some pink Distress Ink over the center. After I removed the nesties, I stamped the sentiment on the oval.

Happy 40th Party

Here is the party invitations I sent out for my husband's 40th birthday party. We celebrated with a friend of ours that was also turning 40. It was a success and Craig was very surprised! We did a Murder Mystery Dinner. I sent out the invitations ahead of time with the character information in them. This card has a pocket on the inside for the papers that I sent ahead of time. This cutie was colored with Copics and distressed with a paper scraper and Distress inks. The clip on the corner was saved from some of Craig's dress shirts. I thought that they were worth saving...I was sure I could use them on some card! We had a great time at the party. Now I have lots of pictures to scrapbook :)

Over the Hill

We are celebrating a 40th Birthday party tonight for my husband and a friend of ours. This old man stamp is from Art Impressions. There are so many humorous people from this stamp company. Many are on the way to The Stamp Shoppe and all are on Cling mounts!! I colored him with Copic markers and using an old sizzix paper clip die, put "40" on the tab with rub ons. Notice the new Herringbone cuttlebug folder?? This fit well with the aged feel that I wanted. I'll keep you posted on the party!!

I colored her with Copics and the Spica Glitter Pens. Glitter paper is by Doodlebug.

Hint: Use glue dots to attach your image to glitter paper if your normal adhesive won't stick.

Flowers are by Prima, tag is by Making Memories.

Hint: Use wide ricrac to *frame* your image for a fun look. ~michelle~
