It's your birthday...again?!

We've been busy drawing more images! Here is a card we did as a make and take at our latest Stamp Convention. Sir Knight is colored with Copic Markers. The decorative edge was using one of the On the edge dies by Tim Holtz. Then we faux stitched with the ScorBuddy and ScorBug. The Silver tin-like piece, was made with the Silver Inka-Gold made by Viva Decor. Spread the Inka-Gold over white cardstock, then run this through the cuttlebug with the fleur de lis embossing folder. Remove from the folder and rub with a kleenex to buff to a more bright metallic sheen. After I stamped the sentiment, I cut it out with the spellbinders labels and used the Viva Decor silver Pearl Pen to add pearls for more embellishments. The second part of the sentiment "It's your birthday...Again?!" was stamped on the inside of the card.

Wedding Dove

Here is the new wedding dove from Heartfelt Creations! The lacy accent is from their Lacy Border Die. It can be cut apart. You are then able to use different parts to create beautiful lacy borders or use the die as one piece. The possibilities are endless! The Dove was colored with Copic Markers, and then cut out and placed on a stenciled Nestabilities Circle. The Decorator paper is from Memory Box. The neat thing about these papers are the many designs on one sheet. Then you can use the part that best fits your card. Once I laid the lace border across the center of the card, it appears almost as two different papers! Heartfelt with Glitz

Sorry it has taken so long for me to blog...again! I have been busy drawing more images as well as trying to keep up with my kids and their busy schedules. Here is a card that I made with the Bella Rosa Collection from Heartfelt Creations. I used the background stamp and colored it with Copic Markers. Then cut a piece of ScorTape the same size as the background. Remove the liner and then sprinkle over the tape with Warm Highlight Microfine Glitter from Elizabeth Craft. Stamp, Color and Cut out the images that you want to "pop". Place them over the background. Stamp the sentiment on cream cardstock and then cut out with Nestabilities. New Flowers Release!

I've been busy drawing some new floral images for Stamp Shoppe Creations. Here are a few samples: This first card uses the Plummeria Corner stamp. I colored the flowers with Copic Markers, then cut into the image so I could cut out the oval with the Nestabilities. Then I layered it onto a pink scallop piece of cardstock. The Background paper is from My Mind's Eye and then I used the ScorBuddy and scored lines along two sides of the paper. Then I sanded over the embossed lines. Put it on a black card and stamp the sentiment in the oval...A simple sympathy card!

This Card...I stamped the scroll twice on white cardstock, then colored the swirls with Copic Markers. Cut out the oval from the Nestabilities Petite oval die. Stamp the Gerber Daisy onto white cardstock and color with Copic Markers. I used the new Copic colors...V20 and V25. Cut out a purple label from the Spellbinders Fancy Tags set. Tuck the oval between the two ends. Cut two strips of white cardstock and using the Fiskars border punch, punch one side of each strip. Then cut two green strips of cardstock to fit the scallop border. Adhere to the card and add two cream Viva pearl dots to the ends of the fancy tag. Mojo Monday Challenge #187

Using the Mojo Monday sketch challenge for this week, I created this card using Heartfelt Creations rubber stamps. This is one of the springtime cardinal collections. I colored it with Copic Markers. As the square piece, I used the corner accent dies made by Spellbinders for Heartfelt Creations. Then I used the Parisian Accent border as the scallop edge. Papers are from Pink Paislee. Flower centers were using the Viva Pearl pens. The tag was my creation after doing a little altering to one of the new ribbon tag trio three spellbinder dies. Have a wonderful day!

Dutch Iris Frame

All the stamps used in this card are new from Heartfelt Creations. The Iris Frame and single Iris are colored with the new Copic Colors V20 and V25. The frame is cut out with the Petite Classic Oval from Nestabilities. The paper behind the frame is embossed with the Tim Holtz swirl embossing folder. Then I cut out the Iris with the matching die from Spellbinders and popped up in the center of the oval. The Swirls were cut out with the die from Heartfelt Creations. The Sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations. Then cut out with the Label 5 Nestabilities and color sponged over the center before removing the spellbinder. The Label is then popped up below the Iris. A fin-tastic day

Here's hoping that you have a fin-tastic Monday! I was using my shimmer mist sprays to make this background. After the ink dried, I stamped the swirl background by Impression Obsession over the tope with VersaFine black ink. It is hard to see the shimmer on the picture, but the background has a definite shimmer to it! I stamped the dolphin by Stamp Shoppe Creations and colored him with Copic Markers. Then I cut out the square, but cut around the head, so the dolphin looks like it is jumping out of the water. The I used a few swirl die cuts to look like a splash. The sentiment is also a Stamp Shoppe Creations stamp and I cut it out with a Nestabilities label die. Leaving the die on the paper, I sponged with a Blue Distress Ink. Thanks for stopping by!

Shimmer Leaves

You can make your own Shimmer Mist colors! Check out our new Shimmer Mist class coming in March. We will be using our own mixed colors and smooshing a background for our stamped images as well as other techniques. Leaf stamp is Penny Black. Sentiment comes from Flourishes rubber stamps. Paper is from Robin's Nest. Cut outs are using the Nestabilities, Martha Stewart border punch and Cuttlebug background embossing folder. Lots of fun techniques in this class.

Stamp Workshop...coming soon!

Some of you are wanting to see samples of projects that we will be doing at the Stamping Workshop that we are having on February 5th in Wausau, Wisconsin. So...here are the samples that will be done by The Stamp Shoppe. We will be featuring Elizabeth Craft Designs and Nestabilities.

Scent-sational...

This Lil' Stinker from Stamp Shoppe Creations worked perfectly for the Saturday Sketchers challenge #139. I colored him with Copics and cut him out with nestabilities. I embossed the top half of the designer paper with a cuttlebug folder. Then I glued the strip of Bo Bunny striped paper on the background piece. Once that was together, I used the ScorBuddy and ScorBug to create faux stitching. The label was cut out with a nestabilities die and tied with the champagne seam binding. It is hard to see from the picture, but I also used the Spica glitter pens on the flowers to add a little bling! Thanks for looking!

A Spring in my step!

Today I am following the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge #175. I decided to use a square card to fit all my elements onto it. I love the pin idea and used the Tim Holtz Memo pins to attach my sentiment on. The sentiment and Bonnie Bunny are both new stamps from Stamp Shoppe Creations. We now carry a variety of seam binding ribbons in the store. Here I used the tea rose seam binding for the ribbons and bows. They are easy to tie and are easy to work with. The corner die is from Heartfelt Creations. Paper is by Bo Bunny. Hope this card put a little "spring" in you day!

You're Tu-tu Wonderful

Here is another Stamp Shoppe Creations stamp. I used the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #88 to create this card. First, I stamped Prancing Piggy and colored her with Copics. Then, I cut out an oval with my nestabilities, with a scallop oval behind the image. I used the Imaginisce Designer paper for my scrap pieces. For the added embellishments on the right side, I used the Imaginisce I-rock heating tool to add the pearls in a swirl pattern. Then I used the sentimet as one of my embellishments on the left side with some papers from Prima. Then to add centers to the flowers, I again used the Glam Rocks with the I-rock tool. How fun is that!

New Valentines!

Just arrived...the new Stamp Shoppe Creations stamps. I will be posting some samples this week of the new images. Here is Mona Monkey with love all the way to her tail. I used a cuttlebug background technique that I will be teaching in the More Cuttlebug class coming up in February. You can see a list of classes on our website. Mona was colored with Copic Markers. The flowers and swirls were cut with Marianne design dies. The sentiment, also new from Stamp Shoppe Creations was cut out with the Spellbinders small petite oval die. I added some faux stitches and some black lines to finish off the card. Thanks for looking!!

Mojo Monday #172 challenge

There's some new Stamp Shoppe Creations images for Valentines, St. Patrick's Day and more. Here is the Bathing Elephant that I colored with Copic Markers. I wanted to used the layout from the Mojo Monday challenge this week, so...I cut out the corner of the tub and then used the largest circle nestabilities to cut out the circle piece. Then I layered it on the lacey circle nesties. The blue background paper is from We R Memories. It had the bubble look, which I thought was perfect for the tub theme. The green gingham paper, I had in my scrap box. It already had the embossed border, but it looked great for what I wanted it for. I used the new Stamp Shoppe Creations sentiment on a nestabilities tag. Finally, I used from Rain Dots from Cloud 9, ribbon, and some faux stitching to finish the card.

Midnight Madness challenge #82

Here's one of my cards for the Midnight Madness Challenge for this month. I used paper from the new Bo Bunny Midnight Frost collection. Then I used the snowflake border die from Tim Holtz and tied a ribbon around it with the sentiment tag. The sentiment is from Amuse. I stamped the bear from High Hopes and colored him with Copics. Then I popped him up on the Labels 11 Nestabilites dies, which I had sponged with Summer Sky Momento ink before removing the die. I used the snowflakes to create the circle doily piece behind my image. Stay warm!

Mojo Monday #170

I am finally doing another challenge!! Here is for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I used my little Ricky Raccoon from Stamp Shoppe Creations and added a heart tattoo for a Valentine's card. I colored him with Copics and added some white highlights with a white get pen. He is layered on some of the new Bo Bunny Valentine paper...The Crush collection. Instead of a circle, I used the heart nestabilities to follow the love theme. Season's Tweetings

These two birds are from Whiff of Joy. I stamped them and colored them with Copic Markers. Using the oval nestabilites, I cut out the bird all except the pine boughs. I then layered the birds onto the beaded oval frame, which I sponged the openings of the stenceil before removing the nestabilities from the paper. The paper was cut from My Mind's Eye decorator paper and faux stitched with the ScorBuddy and the ScorBug. After assembling my card and add the flowers, I used the Viva Pearl Pen to add the pearl accents and the snow on the branches. Stay warm!!

Merry Christmas

Here is a Snowman that I've had in my drawer for a few years and decided to get him out and use him again. This stamp is from Whippersnapper. I first choose the Christmas paper from the My Mind's Eye "Believe" collection. Then I picked out the cardstock to match. I then colored him with Copics to match the paper. I used the drippy goo Martha Stewart punch for the one border and the scallop edge border punch from Fiskars for the other. I used the Scorbuddy and Scorbug to make stitch lines around the card and on the red strip. I then used dies to make the swirl and the poinsettia accents and decorated around the Merry Christmas sentiment. The sentiment was cut out using Spellbinders circle dies. Keep warm!
