I have a pair of cards for you today using my brother's images with The Stamp Shoppe.    These are perfect for the fellas in your life that are into Big Boy Toys!  

This first card features the Snowmobile image that is colored with Copic markers.  I paired it up with some Washi Tape that I picked up at the Stamp Shoppe and papers from the Studio Calico Snippets Collection. 

The sentiment is Enjoying The Ride.

If the weather in your parts is a bit warmer, then this Chopper image might be more your thing.  Again, I used Washi Tapes and Candi Dots to embellish my card.

Tulip Sentiment

This is a quick and easy card.  The background is cut and embossed with the Marianne Designables folder.  Mat this piece with pink cardstock.  Stamp the Tulip from Stamp Shoppe Creations with black ink in the rectangle frame.  Then color the tulip with Copic Markers.  Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut out with the petite oval die.  Leave the die over the paper and sponge with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  Remove the die and pop up the sentiment on the card.  Add some Lilac Viva Decor Pearls and allow them to dry.  Now you have a clean and simple card!!

A Vintage Christmas

Here are two cards using the new Holly Leaf and Berry set from Stamp Shoppe Creations.

The first card, I stamped the holly with the Peeled Paint Distress ink and the Berries with the Barn Door Distress ink onto a Spellbinder label.  Then I sponged around the edges of the label with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  The border was embossed with the Bradshaw Couture Creations Embossing folder.  Then add some faux stitching with the ScorBuddy and ScorBug.

The Second Card uses acetate and the Peeled Paint Distress Ink to create the quilted background.  Then the top background is created by stamping the holly leaves and berries with the Distress Inks onto cream cardstock.  Then I stamped a music background over the Holly with the Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  Finally sponge around the edges with the same ink.  The Sentiment is also from Stamp Shoppe Creations and it was stamped onto cream cardstock, then cut out with the Spellbinder label die.  Leave the die over the paper while you sponge with the Gathered Twigs ink.  Remove the die and pop up onto the card.  The 3-D holly was stamped with the Peeled Paint Distress ink onto white cardstock, then sponged over the leaves with the Peeled Paint Distress Ink to color them green.  I cut out the leaves and popped them up onto the card.  Tie a red ribbon and attach over the holly with a glue dot!

Nolan turns 13

I used Benny the Ape, a Stamp Shoppe Creations stamp, to make this card for my son's 13th birthday.  This gorilla was colored with Copic Markers.  The banner was made with the Memory Box pennant stamp.  Stamp as many pennants together as you want to make a banner.  I used five together so I could spell out Nolan's name to personalize the card.  Then I used some divine twine to "string up" the banner.  The birthday hat was colored with Copic Markers, then cut out to put on the monkey's head.  Of course I added some embossing and some stitching to complete the card!!     

Sincere Sympathy

Here is a sample of my new stamps for Stamp Shoppe Creations.  This Lighthouse was colored with the Distress Markers directly onto the rubber then stamped onto white cardstock.  I cut out the image with the oval spellbinder die, but left the die over the paper while I sponged the clouds.  I used the stormy sky distress ink to sponge the clouds and around the oval.  Then I removed the die and drew black lines around the oval.  I stamped the sympathy sentiment onto white cardstock and matted it with the red cardstock.  The background was embossed with a cuttlebug frame and then I lightly rubbed white dye ink over the raised edges.  This creates a look of sanding.  This works great when your cardstock doesn't have a white core and you can't sand the paper.  I added two little nautical flags for accents.  Thanks for stopping by!!

A Swish of Wand

This wizard is sending Birthday Greetings.  This would be good for a kids birthday...or really anyone that you want to wish a magical day to.  Using the the chocolate box core'dinations paper for the background, then sand it to reveal the purple core.  Stamp the sentiment onto a label die and pop up the wizard for a fun effect.  Here I go coloring with my favorite Copic colors...V20, V22, and V25.  Have a spectacular day!

Sittin' Here Tilda

We just received an order of Magnolia Stamps and Decorator paper.  The Decorator paper comes in 6 x 6 or 12 x 12 sizes.  The decorator paper used in the sample is "Sweet Crazy Love".  The stamp is called Pie Hilda colored with the new RV52 Cotton Candy Copic Marker.  The embossed tree is from Darice and is in stock now.  The lacy border is by Spellbinders and the sentiment is by Stamp Shoppe Creations.  Come in and see our selection!

It's your birthday...again?!

We've been busy drawing more images! Here is a card we did as a make and take at our latest Stamp Convention. Sir Knight is colored with Copic Markers. The decorative edge was using one of the On the edge dies by Tim Holtz. Then we faux stitched with the ScorBuddy and ScorBug. The Silver tin-like piece, was made with the Silver Inka-Gold made by Viva Decor. Spread the Inka-Gold over white cardstock, then run this through the cuttlebug with the fleur de lis embossing folder. Remove from the folder and rub with a kleenex to buff to a more bright metallic sheen. After I stamped the sentiment, I cut it out with the spellbinders labels and used the Viva Decor silver Pearl Pen to add pearls for more embellishments. The second part of the sentiment "It's your birthday...Again?!" was stamped on the inside of the card.

New Flowers Release!

I've been busy drawing some new floral images for Stamp Shoppe Creations. Here are a few samples: This first card uses the Plummeria Corner stamp. I colored the flowers with Copic Markers, then cut into the image so I could cut out the oval with the Nestabilities. Then I layered it onto a pink scallop piece of cardstock. The Background paper is from My Mind's Eye and then I used the ScorBuddy and scored lines along two sides of the paper. Then I sanded over the embossed lines. Put it on a black card and stamp the sentiment in the oval...A simple sympathy card!

This Card...I stamped the scroll twice on white cardstock, then colored the swirls with Copic Markers. Cut out the oval from the Nestabilities Petite oval die. Stamp the Gerber Daisy onto white cardstock and color with Copic Markers. I used the new Copic colors...V20 and V25. Cut out a purple label from the Spellbinders Fancy Tags set. Tuck the oval between the two ends. Cut two strips of white cardstock and using the Fiskars border punch, punch one side of each strip. Then cut two green strips of cardstock to fit the scallop border. Adhere to the card and add two cream Viva pearl dots to the ends of the fancy tag. Missed a Teenagers Birthday

This card fits two challenges this week. The sketch is from Cute Card Thursday and the theme follows the Charisma Cardz theme of Teenage Birthday. I used the Party Malkin Stamp and the I "Moosed" It stamp from Stamp Shoppe Creations. The image was colored with Copics. The light blue, green and brown for the sweater was all colored with the New Copic Colors. The Background paper is by Bo Bunny and the embossed background is from Cuttlebug. The "nailheads" were made with the Viva Decor Pearl Pens, then I tapped the card on the table several times for the pearl to drop and flatten. Just another look!! So now I have a card for a teenaged boy!

Midnight Madness Sketch #96

Here's Wally Walrus from Stamp Shoppe Creations, colored with Copic markers and fitting right in with this weeks MMSC96. I used decorator paper from My Mind's Eye again. The edges of the purple paisley paper has some faux stitches and distressing. I tied some seam binding ribbon to the card along with some Prima Flowers and swirls by Sizzix. Thanks for looking!

Mojo Monday #183

Here's my take on the Mojo Monday sketch challenge for this week. I used the Greta Giraffe form Stamp Shoppe Creations. She's colored with Copic Markers. The background is using the Houndstooth Cuttlebug folder. The Layered piece behind Greta is faux stitched with the ScorBuddy and ScorBug. The fancy corner is cut with the Sizzix die cut. The Palm fronds are cut out of the decorator paper from My Mind's Eye. Have a good day!

Easter is coming...

...do I smell Chocolate? Here I used my chocolate bunny, but instead of coloring him the traditional way, I used a negative mask and sponged the bunny with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and the sponge applicator. I used a little pink ink in the ears. Then I cut out the bunny with the oval Nestabilities and leaving the stencil on, I sponged more ink on the inside of the oval. I added more nesties for layers. A fin-tastic day

Here's hoping that you have a fin-tastic Monday! I was using my shimmer mist sprays to make this background. After the ink dried, I stamped the swirl background by Impression Obsession over the tope with VersaFine black ink. It is hard to see the shimmer on the picture, but the background has a definite shimmer to it! I stamped the dolphin by Stamp Shoppe Creations and colored him with Copic Markers. Then I cut out the square, but cut around the head, so the dolphin looks like it is jumping out of the water. The I used a few swirl die cuts to look like a splash. The sentiment is also a Stamp Shoppe Creations stamp and I cut it out with a Nestabilities label die. Leaving the die on the paper, I sponged with a Blue Distress Ink. Thanks for stopping by!

Scent-sational...

This Lil' Stinker from Stamp Shoppe Creations worked perfectly for the Saturday Sketchers challenge #139. I colored him with Copics and cut him out with nestabilities. I embossed the top half of the designer paper with a cuttlebug folder. Then I glued the strip of Bo Bunny striped paper on the background piece. Once that was together, I used the ScorBuddy and ScorBug to create faux stitching. The label was cut out with a nestabilities die and tied with the champagne seam binding. It is hard to see from the picture, but I also used the Spica glitter pens on the flowers to add a little bling! Thanks for looking!

A Spring in my step!

Today I am following the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge #175. I decided to use a square card to fit all my elements onto it. I love the pin idea and used the Tim Holtz Memo pins to attach my sentiment on. The sentiment and Bonnie Bunny are both new stamps from Stamp Shoppe Creations. We now carry a variety of seam binding ribbons in the store. Here I used the tea rose seam binding for the ribbons and bows. They are easy to tie and are easy to work with. The corner die is from Heartfelt Creations. Paper is by Bo Bunny. Hope this card put a little "spring" in you day!

You're Tu-tu Wonderful

Here is another Stamp Shoppe Creations stamp. I used the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #88 to create this card. First, I stamped Prancing Piggy and colored her with Copics. Then, I cut out an oval with my nestabilities, with a scallop oval behind the image. I used the Imaginisce Designer paper for my scrap pieces. For the added embellishments on the right side, I used the Imaginisce I-rock heating tool to add the pearls in a swirl pattern. Then I used the sentimet as one of my embellishments on the left side with some papers from Prima. Then to add centers to the flowers, I again used the Glam Rocks with the I-rock tool. How fun is that!

New Valentines!

Just arrived...the new Stamp Shoppe Creations stamps. I will be posting some samples this week of the new images. Here is Mona Monkey with love all the way to her tail. I used a cuttlebug background technique that I will be teaching in the More Cuttlebug class coming up in February. You can see a list of classes on our website. Mona was colored with Copic Markers. The flowers and swirls were cut with Marianne design dies. The sentiment, also new from Stamp Shoppe Creations was cut out with the Spellbinders small petite oval die. I added some faux stitches and some black lines to finish off the card. Thanks for looking!!

Mojo Monday #172 challenge

There's some new Stamp Shoppe Creations images for Valentines, St. Patrick's Day and more. Here is the Bathing Elephant that I colored with Copic Markers. I wanted to used the layout from the Mojo Monday challenge this week, so...I cut out the corner of the tub and then used the largest circle nestabilities to cut out the circle piece. Then I layered it on the lacey circle nesties. The blue background paper is from We R Memories. It had the bubble look, which I thought was perfect for the tub theme. The green gingham paper, I had in my scrap box. It already had the embossed border, but it looked great for what I wanted it for. I used the new Stamp Shoppe Creations sentiment on a nestabilities tag. Finally, I used from Rain Dots from Cloud 9, ribbon, and some faux stitching to finish the card.

You make life sweet

Happy New Year!! And now Valentine's Day is fast approaching. On this card I used Sylvester from Stamp Shoppe Creations and colored him with Copic Markers. I sponged around the paper with Frayed Burlap Distress ink and a little Walnut ink. The background paper is Imaginisce which I cut at an angle and used both sides of the paper. I then used the ScorBuddy and ScorBug to create the faux stitching. The white border paper, I punched with the Fiskars scallop punch and added more faux stitching to that. I added the velvet cutout ribbon on that. Embellished the card with a Prima flower and some cut out decorative leaves and put on my sentiment...That's all folks!!
