Pop Out Cards

I'm having so much fun with these Karen Burniston dies.  I will be having a class tomorrow at The Stamp Shoppe using the Twist Panel Pop Up Die and the Twist Snowman Circle Die Set.
This first card uses the Prickley Pear Build a Cupcake stamp set with matching die colored with Copic markers.
Frames and Rounded panel are also included in the die set.
The second card front uses the Prickley Pear Christmas Banner stamp set and matching die. Keeping the front simple because most of the work is found on the inside.
Watch the little Penguin twist and pop up as you open the card.  The Roly Poly Penguin is from Taylored Expressions.  This cutie fits perfectly with the circle die included in the stamp set.  The frame is from the KB Riley Katherine Label Pop Up die. The sentiment is also from Prickley Pear. The snowy border is from Karen Burniston's Nature Edges Die Set.  If you are interested in taking a class, call us at 715-355-6735. If you just want to make some of these cards, you can find them all at The Stamp Shoppe!

Introducing Karen Burniston Dies!

I can't wait to share with you these dies from Karen Burniston.  Karen Burniston and Riley & Company are together to bring you fun and innovative dies!  Here is the Flower Pot Pop Up die...
I love the way the flowers burst out of the card when you open it!  It is a fun surprise for the receiver.  These flowers, leaves and bee all come as part of this set, so...use them in the pot, or use them for other neat accents on another card!  I am also am using the Word Set 2: Birthday die set for my sentiments on both cards.
Don't want to make a pop up card?  Use the die cut the pot, fold it and glue the flap to the front of the pot to create a pocket.  Use the pot accent die to make a sentiment tag.  Decorate the top of the tag and slide it into the pot.  I used some mounting tape on the inside of the pot and on the tag to create a stopper.  This way the tag can't be pulled all the way out of the pot. The oval frame was made with the Nesting Ovals with Pierced Dot die set from Riley and Company.

I then wrote PULL on the tag so the receiver knows what to do!  Put out the "dirt" and see the hidden message.  This is a great die set to have.  It's fun to make interactive cards and also use the element dies to enhance any card.  These are available to pre-order now, so check out their store now today!
