I am doing two challenges in one today. This layout was done by following the sketch you see below, from this weeks
Mojo Monday challenge. I stamped my "Holy Cow" and colored her in with Copic Markers. Then I cut out the sentiment with the new Mega oval Nestabilities. After I embossed the stencil, I left the stencil on the cut paper and sponged some of the Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
This week's
Cute Card Thursday challenge was to Make Your Own embellishments, so I made my own "Cow spot" paper and colored them with Copic Markers. Then I used black shrink paper and punched them out with circle punches to make my own buttons. Then I used the ScorPal and ScorBug to make my own faux stitches. It was fun to come up with my own embellishments. Sometimes that is what you have to do, when what you are looking for just isn't available to purchase...using your own creativity :)
