I used the Winter Sled on this card as the center piece, then added a little red doily accent from Cheery Lynn to brighten up all the brown tones and to make the ribbon pop. Then I added some Candi and a sentiment to complete the card.
Here, I am using the Winter Sled that I stamped on a piece of white card stock, then colored with Copic Markers. Then I used the removable masking tape technique to sponge a frame around the sled. The red strip is embossed with a Darice Embossing folder and accented with lace strips that were cut out with Cheery Lynn dies. I added my sentiment to a piece of cream card stock, then popped it up and added some bronze pearls from Viva Decor. It still needed something else...so I add a little mistletoe to the sentiment for a little added Holiday Love! Finally, I add some glitter glue to the berries to make them pop! Just popping in to say hello and I have to say I love this sled on your card. The color combos are just perfect as always. Hoping you have a prosperous new year!
I always like the sponged look with the border still white. Very pretty
I just love the snowman cards and how different they look with using dark or light colors. Plus the sleds are neat.
Love the sled and snowman cards. Such wonderful ideas.
