Cuttlebug borders!!

Some of the new Cuttlebug folders are here!! These new borders are very fun to use. I used the border on the edge of my DoubleMates cardstock. Then I sanded the embossed image to see the lighter purple color to the front. I colored the flower with Copic markers, using the feathering technique. So Simple!!

Copic class

Tuesday, I went to Milwaukee to become certified in Copic markers. We have been using these markers for years now. I have always like the look I got when using these fabulous markers, but I wanted to learn some more techniques...which I did. I will be having Copic classes at the store. Here is one of the cards we will do in the class.

Amuse News

Wow, what a busy week A-muse-a-palooza was, but what a fun week it was!! Here are some of the make and takes we had at the store:

I want to thank Lyndsay Neumann, a design team member for Amuse, who sent some samples for us to use as make and takes this week. Here are winners of our daily door prizes: Sara Wittlinger, Pat Tatro, Melissa Meyer. Dawn Stein won the Grand Prize Amuse door prize. Congratulations to all the winners. The August Card contest will feature Amuse stamps. We would love to see what ideas you have for these fun stamps!!

A*muse*A*Palooza!!

Today was the "unveiling" of the NEW A-Muse-A-Palooza 2008 Holiday stamps!! Remember...we will be having a free Make and Take each day this week. This was our make and take today. Keep checking the blog to see more samples this week. We have 2 more spots in our Thursday night class. There is a goodie bag and a chance to win an additional door prize during the class.
