Time for Tea

This week I am using the tea cup from the Old English Garden Collection with the newer Rose Corner stamp from the Garden Romance Collection.  The tea cups match the Spellbinder Tea Cut Shapeablilites for easy cut outs.  The Rose Corners is one of my favorite stamps.  They are perfect for adding a little extra, but not too much!  The doily was made from the Layered Elegant Swirl Die Set.  This is die set is so versatile. The Decorator paper seemed too blue to me, so I sponged some purple Distress ink to the edges to have a blend of the blue and the purple.  Don't forget to check out the Heartfelt Creations Blog for lots more inspiration!!

In Memory of Lisa Lynne Wright

This is a card in Memory of Lisa Lynne Wright, fellow Design Team Member of Heartfelt Creations.  She died of a Massive Brain Aneurysm.  She was very creative and we always looked forward to the inspiration that she showed week after week.  She was always generous with her comments, and when we needed help with anything technical, she was always there to help us out.  Even though I never had the privilege to meet her, she will be deeply missed and we feel a great loss.  Be sure to check out the blog hop starting at the Heartfelt Creations blog.  It is a great tribute to Lisa Lynne...She will be remembered!

Tattered Blossoms

This Wednesday, I used some of the old with some of the new!  Here is the book  from the Holiday release and cut out with the matching Labels 7 Spellbinder die.  Then I used the Tattered Collage to use as the printing on the book.  Then I added some of the individual Tattered Blossoms that were cut out with the matching dies to create a more 3-D effect.  This makes it appear that the flowers are sitting on the book.  The background paper is from the Glitz 6x6 paper pack that we have in the store now.  These tattered blossoms are wonderful!  They can be layered several times to look more like a gerber daisy.  Be sure to see all the beautiful creations on the Heartfelt Creations blog.  And...be sure to check out the new release next week!!
