Pink Poinsettias

Today I am using the new poinsettia flowers that match the Sun Kissed Fleur Die.  This is a great way to get multiple flower to use on many projects.  I colored the flowers a pink color to compliment the blue background that I used .  I use the dies from the Ornamental Add on die set for my background.  I addes some of (my favorite) holly berries to accent the flowers.  Hop on over to the HC blog for more details on how to make this card as well as see all the new projects that the Design Team has been working on this week!

Dreamweaver & Quietfire Collaboration

Get ready for an amazing week of Awesome in Autumn!  This week we are playing with the Quietfire Design Team, and are so excited to play with their amazing images and sentiments.  In their beautiful calligraphic style, their quotes and their thoughts are the perfect addition to our Dreamweaver Designs.  Follow along with us, and leave a comment for an opportunity to win one of the two wonderful prize packages!
Here's what I've created for today's post:
I used the new Tole Leaves stencil by Dreamweaver as my background.  I used the pearlescent paste and repeated it three more time.  While the paste was still wet, I sprinkled the paste with the pearl Art Institute glitter.  I cut these tiles down and adhered them to the cream background paper.  I stamped the Live in the Moment stamp by Quietfire onto cream card stock and embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I them cut the sentiment out with the Label one die.  While the die was still over the paper, I sponged the opening with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.  Then I cut out the decorative label out of a pearlescent card stock and adhered it to the center of the card.  Finally I punched out the butterfly to go onto the card and added some pearls.

Check out this week's awesomeness, starting today with...

Two Hearts, One Love

I am using the CLR016 Heart Key Crown Clear set from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  On the background I cut out the Wedding couple with the Cheery Lynn Designs die from black paper and adhered it over Magnolia decorator paper.  The decorator paper has a watercolor background with hearts.  I felt this soft background was perfect for this card.  Then I used the sentiment from the stamp set and cut it out with one of the tag dies from Cheery Lynn.  For an extra pop...I stamped a heart and color it with Copic Marker.  Then I cut out the heart and popped it up onto the lacy heart...which is the die that matches this set.  What and elegant wedding card, yet how quick is that!!  Hop on over to the PPRS blog to get more inspiration today!

Heartfelt Creations...Simple Style.

Today I am doing a card with Heartfelt Creations, but in a clean and simple way.  I love stamping and coloring images, then adding dimension and embellishments to a card.  But with the holiday season coming, it's hard to get all the things done that you need to as well as some Christmas Cards.  Heartfelt Creations makes it easy for you to make beautiful cards...quickly.  Today I am using the Christmas Card Paper Collection.  They have many different saying panels and card fronts included in the pack.  All you need to do, is cut one out, layer it on a card and add a few die cuts, pearls, etc. and you have one finished.  You won't get bored making 100 of the same cards.  They will all be unique.  Check out more beautiful projects and the debuting of the new Joy of the Seasons collection on the HC blog today!

Here's what I've created for today's post:
For my card, I first pasted the pumpkins with gold embossing paste and while it was still wet, I sprinkled on the glitters. The Art Institute glitters that I used for this card was Pumpkin and Celery.  I then used removable tape around the edges of the pumpkins and sponged around the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  Remove the tape and you will have a matted piece.  I tied a little bit of Jute from May Arts and added a few Candi to embellish the card.

Check out this week's awesomeness which includes our super sparkly guest designer and previous Dream Team member...

Season of Joy Collection

We are happy to introduce the new Season of Joy Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  Today I am using the Striped Candy Cane stamp and the Christmas Sentiment circles on this card along with the Holly Berries from last month's release.  This is an absolutely gorgeous stamp release.  They work well with the Christmas stamps from past collections and also papers from the Frosty Blanket and Christmas Card Paper Collections.  You can mix and match these elements effortlessly and the end results are fabulous.  I love the new Poinsettia stamp that matches the previously released Sun Kissed Fleur Die.  Just stamp a few times, cut them out with the matching die and you have several flowers ready for the current project as well as the future projects that you will be working on!  Be sure to check out the HC blog for more beautiful creations that will be sure to inspire you for this upcoming holiday season!

The Joy you give

For the Prickley Pear Monday Inspiration, I am once again using the Black Eye Susan stamps.  I love this flower stamp and find it as my go to stamp for many occasions.  It can be colored in many different colors to match the paper in the background.  I used the Darice embossing folder on the blue card, then lightly rubbed the White dye ink over the embossing to give it a sanded look.  I wanted to emphasize the word Joy, so I stamped the sentiment again and matted the word to pop up over the original.  Add some pearls, leaves and border dies for more interest.  Be sure to check out the PPRS blog for more inspiration today.
