Sir Dustan

We now have in the new Dustin Pike stamps. All these images are so Cute!!! I used paper from October Afternoon in the background and then I used the green crinkle paper for the ground for these guys to stand on. The double sided ribbon is from May Arts and the sentiment is stamped on a spellbinder label. The images were colored with Copic marker to match the paper. Then I added a little distress ink around the edges and the scuffed up the edges to make it looked a little burnt and rough like the dragon had a little fun! I made this for my son's 16th birthday. The stamp is called Sir Dustin and my son's name is Dustan...what a perfect fit!

Mojo Challenge #125

Brand New!!...Just arrived... Sizzix Textured Impression plates! We have all 6 of the new Textured Impressions here at The Stamp Shoppe. I am using the Birthday #3 set here for the Mojo Monday challenge this week. The background was used on the teal paper and then sanded down. The Happy Birthday label was also from this set. I brayered dye ink on the folder, then embossed it in my machine. I cut it out and used it for my decorative label. It worked perfect with this sketch! I then cut a hole for the cow from Stamp Shoppe Creations to peek through. Then I stamped the party hat, cut it out, colored it, then put it on the cow's head (since this is a birthday card!) Come in and check out the folders. They all are really neat!

You're One in a Melon

I am doing two challenges today!! First I used the sketch #88 from Friday Sketchers and then used the Spots and Dots theme from the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. Did I ever use dots!! Starting with the background paper from Cloud 9 there were dots galore. Then the dot ribbon from Bo Bunny and also the pink cardstock with the swiss dot cuttlebug folder. I cut out the circle with the Nestabilities. Then I airbrushed the background sky and grass. After the girl was stamped, I colored her with Copics and cut her out. I popped her on the circle.

Love Bear-eth All Things

Now that I have my latest edition of the Technique Junkies Newsletter, I can barely step away from my stamp desk!! I whipped up this cute card, with Stamp Shoppe Creation images, using the Mono Dies technique. I love it when a new technique breathes new life into supplies I already own--don't you?

I hope you're all having a wonderful, sunny day!
TTFN, Jane

Midnight Madness Challenge #39

Here's doing a Tuesday challenge on Wednesday... the Midnight Madness Challenge! I used the Heart scallop Nestabilities for the heart shape in the middle and layering it with the Sizzix heart die. I added some white dots with my gel pen to make the heart more elegant. I stamped the Love turtle from Stamp Shoppe Creations and colored him with Copics to match the Background paper from Cloud 9. Then I popped the turtle with the shell matching up with the curve of the heart. I then added some flowers, heart pins, corners, ribbons and pearls for all the extra embellishments. Here's to a little lovin'!

Mojo Monday #125

I am finally back!! I have been so busy that I have missed out on these fun challenges. I hope I am pretty well caught up on store business and can have a little fun again. Valentine's day will be here soon, so I wanted to do a little LOVE card. I used Bo Bunny paper for the background paper and matching colors for the matting. I cut out the chipmunk in the Hot air balloon and popped him out. Then I used some dew drop hearts from Cloud 9 on the side. I added some distress touches to match with the distress look of the paper. Love is in the air!!
