2012 Calendar

Here are two calendar pages I did using Heartfelt Creations stamps. These two months use flowers that are limited edition stamps and will only be available until Dec. 31st. So be sure you get them before they have run out. You can order from Heartfelt Creations or we also have some in our store for you to purchase! This calender stand is from Zutter and I used 6" square pages. With the calendar itself, I used clear photo corners so that you can replace the month year after year. I will be showing more pages every week, so be sure to keep looking! Also...check out what the talented designers have done with more of these limited edition stamps on the Heartfelt Creations blog!

Limited Edition Gatefold Card

This card uses the new Artistic Gatefold dies from Heartfelt Creations. This is the Elegant Swirl die and it is very versatile! Here I made the Gatefold card. I cut the paper 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored it with the ScorBuddy. If you place the card onto the ScorBuddy, you will score at the dots, which measure 2 1/8" and 6 3/8". January 5th and January 24th, I will be having classes on doing a card similar to this one as well as two other cards that uses these same dies. You can see some ideas of what else you can do with these dies!

Heartfelt Creations Blog Hop

Merry Christmas with Heartfelt Creations. This card uses the new Layered Elegant Swirl Die. This die set is so versatile. Here, I created a border with the swirls together. Then added a strip of paper across the center to fancy it up a little! The hollies were stamped and cut out. The berries have some glass effects on them and the smaller berries, I used some of the white pearls. Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations blog to see all the wonderful ways the Design Team came up with using these dies! It looks like Winter

It snowed today and it looks like winter...so I decided this would be the cards I would post today. This uses stamps from the Heartfelt Creations, Christmas Cheer Collection. I colored it with Copic markers and cut out the bell with their matching die. The crystal glitter gives the snowy look and then I used the notebook embossing folder from Tim Holtz on the background for an added interest. Fall has Arrived

The weather is gloomy and there's a chill in the air. I think that fall has arrived! I used the Heartfelt Creations Swirly Autumn Leaves for this card. I colored the leaves with Copic Markers. Then adding some white accents to the berries with a white gel pen. This one stamps is all you need to make a fabulous focus to your card. Adding some Frayed Burlap around the edges, cause the card to become more vintage and antique. Fun with Loralie

These new Loralie stamps are fun to color with Copic Markers. They have larger are for shading and the possibilities for clothing accents are endless! This Birthday Girl and sport stylish capris are casual jeans. Add some stripes, flowers, dots, or whatever your imagination wants to do. These also work great for paper piecing with decorator paper. Once you finish with the girl, you can decide what kind of birthday cake you want. Make it a layer cake or a delicious chocolate cake. Then when you are finished with the coloring, you can trace the outlines to create a fun dimension to the image. Blessings of the Lord

Here's a peek at the new Classic Christmas Collection from Heartfelt Creations! I used the Book Frame 1 Set that matches the Spellbinders Label 7 die set. Age the paper with the Old Paper Distress Ink and placed the book on the embossed brick background from Sizzix. Add some of the poinsettias (My favorite new set) to create 3-D flowers. Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations blog to see the beautiful cards that the design team made this week!!

Poinsettia Accents

I love the Heartfelt Creations poinsettia flowers. These make great accents to cards and scrapbook pages! I stamped the poinsettias and colored them with the Copic Markers. I like the R46 and R59 for the deep red color. I colored the entire flowers with the R46. I wasn't careful to stay in the line, because I was just going to cut them out with the die anyway. Then starting from the outside edge I colored half way with the R59 Copic using a feathering stroke. Go back and blend with the original color. I formed the petals of each layer, then popped them on to of each other. Then I finished each with the gold Viva Decor Pearl Pen. Winter Wedding

Here is a bell stamp from the Hearfelt Creations Christmas Cheer Collection. I love this stamp! You can use it for many different occasions. Here I colored the bells with the Cool Gray Copic Markers and the Poinsettia I colored with the pink colors. Now it looks more like a perfect winter wedding card. I just added a lacy border, some embossing and the Memory Box decorator paper.
On this card, I have colored the bells with Gold colors and colored the Poinsettia red...making it more of a festive Christmas card. Color this same image with the gold bells and a white poinsettia and it would make a great 50th wedding anniversary card! The possibilities are endless!! Catered Crop Challenge

The Heartfelt Creations design team has been asked to create cards for the Catered Crop FTR20 Recipe Challenge as Guest Designers. This is a fun and unique challenge, because there are ingredients for you to use, but you don't need to use them all and you can add some of your own "spice" to make it yours! This weeks challenge winner will receive $30 of Heartfelt Creations Products. So be sure to check it out and "whip" up something so you can have a chance to win!! This weeks recipes is:

I started with the pastels. I chose a Decorator paper from g.c.d Designs. It has soft colors and has a Shabby Chic feel to it. Then I knew that I wanted to use the Heartfelt Creations lace die. That would be using "lace" and the die cut! Then I chose the wedgewood blue seam binding as the ribbon. Before I adhered the lace down, I decided to add some of the technique of stitching. So I used the ScorBuddy and ScorBug to add pierced holes around the edges of the decorator paper and connected the holes with a fine line black marker. To create the look of stitching! The other die that I used was the leaf swirl that is in the Bella Rose Die Set. I cut it twice, once from a lighter green paper and the from a darker green paper. I cut off the leaves and popped them up over the light green leaves. I stamped several of the Daisy flowers from Heartfelt Creations onto white cardstock. Then I needed to decide how I wanted to color them. You know that my first choice is Copic Markers, but that wasn't one of the ingredients. So I used stamping ink. I took the Momento Dew drop inks and rubbed them over the stamped images. Then I cut out the Daisies with the matching daisy die cut from Heartfelt Creations. That makes the cutting so quick!!! I then formed the flowers and popped them up over the swirls. I added some glitter to the finished flowers. The sentiment is one of the new sets from Heartfelt Creations. I stamped it and cut it out with the new Spellbinder Blossom Tags and Accents. I left the die on the paper and sponged with the light blue momento ink. I got a unique color because I used the dirty sponge that already had some Frayed Burlap Distress ink on it. I turned out to be exactly what I wanted! Then I added some of the Viva Decor Pearls to the centers of the flowers. I then took the lilac pearl pen and added pearls to the tag and the card. I immediately added glitter to the wet pearls to have glittered pearls! Enjoy!!

Tulip Basket

I'm a little late with my post again this week. I think that the Labor Day weekend messed me up a little! Anyway...here is my creation for Heartfelt Creations using the woven basket stamp. I love this basket, because there are so many of the Heartfelt Creations flowers that fit in the basket to create a basket of different seasons! Be sure to check out the blog this week to see wonderful samples from the Design Team. Many of the cards are made with past release stamps and there are a few sneak peaks of their Christmas Collection that will be shown next week!

Class Added!

We have added another class to our September schedule. This Friday, September 9th at 1:00, we are having a Mini Magnolia class with some of our new dies from Pop Up! This first card features the PopUp sentiments on the inside of the card. Now in a die, just crank the sentiment throught the Big Shot or the Cuttlebug and instantly you have the pop up words inside your card! How fun is that?!

Here is a new Geo Die from PopUps. Run this die through your machine once, fold back and tuck. Now you have a fun element for your card! You can run this die through twice and have a different look! If you you are interested in the class, let us know and we will put you on the list. Along with these two cards, you will do two more Mini Magnolia cards that are not shown, but are very cute!

Altered Frame

Here is a frame I picked up at Goodwill. I saw it on the shelf and had just the thing in mind for it! First I painted it black to better display the flowers. Then I cut pieces of decorator paper to fit into each frame. I used the Botanical flower PreCut sets from Heartfelt Creations. I stamped them on cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I didn't worry about staying in the lines, because I would just be cutting them out with the matching Rose Creations Spellbinder die. Then I formed the petals and adhered them to create 3-D Flowers. I stamped some leaves from Heartfelt's Leaf Medley PreCut set, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Folliage Spellbinder die. I arranged the flowers and leaves how I wanted them in the frames and adhered them in place. I felt that the frames were a little to blank. So I added some Cream Pearls with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen! Be sure to look at the Heartfelt Creations blog. They have some sneak peaks of the stamps that will be released on September 13!!

Here I am using something old and something new, nothing borrowed, but something blue! Actually I am using purple, but it's close! LOL. This could work as a wedding card as well as a greeting to let that special person in your life, know how you feel about them! I used the Decorative basket dies for the basket, then I used the flowers from the older Posy Patch Garden Delights set. I colored the flowers with Copic markers, then cut them from the Watering Can. Pop them up in the basket...and you have bunches of LOVE! I used the ScorBuddy and Scor Bug to create a frame on the center cream piece and Swiss Dot embossing folder for the background. Stamp the sentiment on the banner dies from Spellbinders and finish the card off with some Viva Decor Pearls! Mini Magnolia

We now have a large selection of Mini Magnolia stamps at The Stamp Shoppe! These mini cuties are fun to use alone or to make a scene! When you use several stamps to make your scene, you can either mask or cut out the elements. The stamp line has several of the kids, standing, stitting, leaning, etc. and has many elements like fences, windows, trees and more for the kids to use as props! The ideas are endless and VERY fun!!!

Heartfelt Creations...Again!

It's Wednesday, so I will show another Heartfelt Creations card! This is what I made for my Mom for her birthday last week. I used paper from one of the Memory Box 6 x 6 paper packs for the decorator paper. I stamped my flower trio onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. Then I faux stitched around the image with the ScorBug. I found the embossed cream paper in my scrap box and even though I had stamped my image on white, I like the effect of using the cream with the white. I stamped some extra flowers to add some dimension to image. Be sure to check out they beautiful cards that the Design Team created this week.

La La Land has Arrived!

Marci and Luka Stamps from La La Land have just arrived at The Stamp Shoppe!! We saw these cute kids at CHA and had to get some! They are fun to color with Copic Markers and the they are just too cute! Also...arriving soon is the X-press Paper from Copic. This paper is great! You are able to shade and blend color with ease and the color is vibrant! Come in and check out all the Marci and Luka stamps that we have in stock!

New Products - Fireworks!

New from Tsukineko is the Fireworks Sprays! They are very glitzy!! They come in several color and they can be used to add glittery color to ribbon, twill, flowers, paper and more. I use three techniques on this card using the Fireworks sprays. First I sprayed some of the Danube Blue and the Lulu Lavender onto a craft sheet, letting the colors blend together a little. Then I inked the butterfly stamp from Penny Black and stamped it on white cardstock. There was still lots of ink on the craft sheet, so next I rolled over the ink with my brayer. Then brayered over a 4" x 5 1/4" light purple cardstock until the entire paper is covered. The background is now sparkly with color. Stamp a design over the paper with a background stamp and VersaFine black ink. The third technique, I stamped my sentiment onto paper and cut out with the Spellbinders Petite oval die. After I cut out the oval, I left the die over the paper and sprayed over the sentiment with the Lulu Lavender fireworks spray. Remove the die and you have a glittery sentiment. I used black cardstock for the card and accents to really make the glitz sparkle! I'm not sure how much sparkle you can see from the picture, but you can see the real card at the store. We are offering a Card Purse Class on Saturday, August 6th at The Stamp Shoppe in Schofield, WI. We are decorating a clear card box and converting it into a purse! Then make 4 cards to put in it. On the Edge with Heartfelt Greetings

Here is a card I made with the new Botanical Gardens Collection from Heartfelt Creations. I love these flowers and leaves. They match the Spellbinders Foliage and the Rose Creations Die Sets. Full directions are on the Heartfelt Creations Blog, so be sure to check it out. There are LOTS of fabulous cards out there. Don't hesitate to post comments to the Designer's blogs. We always love to hear, what you like!! I added the Tim Holtz On the Edge die to the maroon Distress paper from Coredinations. Then sanded it to bring out the light mauve core color.

I just wanted to apologize for not blogging very often this summer. July has been full of camping, vacation and then CHA in Chicago. I was able to see many new products that will be coming soon! There are some wonderful products that will be arriving at The Stamp Shoppe soon. We will try to keep you posted! I also visited the Heartfelt Creations Booth at CHA and met with Linda and Emma Lou, owners of Heartfelt Creations. Lisa Somerville also came to the booth and I had the chance to meet her, a fellow Design Team Member. It was great to meet them all!!

Thoughtful Greetings

Wow! It's Wednesday again. I don't know where June has gone, but we are fast approaching July. I used the scene from Heartfelt Creations on this card. I colored the image with Copic Markers and cut out the scene with the Spellbinders oval die. I then cut out the Decorative Rectangle Window Die and cut it in half, so I could frame the oval. It seemed that it still needed something, so I stamped the posy clusters and 3-D some of the flowers to add some embellishments. Then I attached a sentiment and some Cream Pearls...of course!! Shoe Hop with Heartfelt Creations

It's time for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday. I used more of their new stamps from the wedding collection for this card along with some of the Silver Inka-Gold from Viva Decor to make silver embossed paper for this 25th wedding anniversary card. You can find more detailed instruction on the Heartfelt Creations blog. We also are doing a "shoe hop" this week! How fun is that?! This was something that was out of my comfort zone, but I had fun with it! So on this creative journey, if you came from Tesa's blog you are on the right track. If you're lost, head back to the Heartfelt Creations blog to head in the right direction. Here is a picture of my vintage shoe:
I used some of the Cosmo Cricket decorator paper. It had a tapestry look to it that I felt went with the vintage fabric theme. I added some faux stitches to it. I pleated the paper on the end of one flap that went through a small slit. Then I mad a 3-D flower to pop up on the shoe. For the back, I add the lacy edge from the rectangle window die. The heel has a gold band that I created with the Gold Inka-Gold cream and two gold pearls as accents. Now step on over to Carla's blog to see some more fun and fancy shoes. It's your birthday...again?!

We've been busy drawing more images! Here is a card we did as a make and take at our latest Stamp Convention. Sir Knight is colored with Copic Markers. The decorative edge was using one of the On the edge dies by Tim Holtz. Then we faux stitched with the ScorBuddy and ScorBug. The Silver tin-like piece, was made with the Silver Inka-Gold made by Viva Decor. Spread the Inka-Gold over white cardstock, then run this through the cuttlebug with the fleur de lis embossing folder. Remove from the folder and rub with a kleenex to buff to a more bright metallic sheen. After I stamped the sentiment, I cut it out with the spellbinders labels and used the Viva Decor silver Pearl Pen to add pearls for more embellishments. The second part of the sentiment "It's your birthday...Again?!" was stamped on the inside of the card.

Wedding Dove

Here is the new wedding dove from Heartfelt Creations! The lacy accent is from their Lacy Border Die. It can be cut apart. You are then able to use different parts to create beautiful lacy borders or use the die as one piece. The possibilities are endless! The Dove was colored with Copic Markers, and then cut out and placed on a stenciled Nestabilities Circle. The Decorator paper is from Memory Box. The neat thing about these papers are the many designs on one sheet. Then you can use the part that best fits your card. Once I laid the lace border across the center of the card, it appears almost as two different papers! Heartfelt with Glitz

Sorry it has taken so long for me to blog...again! I have been busy drawing more images as well as trying to keep up with my kids and their busy schedules. Here is a card that I made with the Bella Rosa Collection from Heartfelt Creations. I used the background stamp and colored it with Copic Markers. Then cut a piece of ScorTape the same size as the background. Remove the liner and then sprinkle over the tape with Warm Highlight Microfine Glitter from Elizabeth Craft. Stamp, Color and Cut out the images that you want to "pop". Place them over the background. Stamp the sentiment on cream cardstock and then cut out with Nestabilities. I will be having a Cards with Glitz class in July. This is one of the cards we will be making! Call and sign up today!

New Flowers Release!

I've been busy drawing some new floral images for Stamp Shoppe Creations. Here are a few samples: This first card uses the Plummeria Corner stamp. I colored the flowers with Copic Markers, then cut into the image so I could cut out the oval with the Nestabilities. Then I layered it onto a pink scallop piece of cardstock. The Background paper is from My Mind's Eye and then I used the ScorBuddy and scored lines along two sides of the paper. Then I sanded over the embossed lines. Put it on a black card and stamp the sentiment in the oval...A simple sympathy card!

This Card...I stamped the scroll twice on white cardstock, then colored the swirls with Copic Markers. Cut out the oval from the Nestabilities Petite oval die. Stamp the Gerber Daisy onto white cardstock and color with Copic Markers. I used the new Copic colors...V20 and V25. Cut out a purple label from the Spellbinders Fancy Tags set. Tuck the oval between the two ends. Cut two strips of white cardstock and using the Fiskars border punch, punch one side of each strip. Then cut two green strips of cardstock to fit the scallop border. Adhere to the card and add two cream Viva pearl dots to the ends of the fancy tag. Happy Mother's Day Cardinal

First of all, I want to apologize for not blogging much recently. I have been having technical difficulties with my computer and so I have had to get my stuff on another computer so I can blog while my laptop is being fixed.

Here is another card using one of Heartfelt Creations Springtime Cardinal Stamps. I stamped another smaller cardinal on a separate piece of cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. Then I cut it out with the matching Cardinal Family die. I popped the "baby" cardinal on the branch with the "mommy" cardinal. Now...a perfect Mother's Day card! I used the Fancy Tags Three die to mat the sentiment "Mom...You mean so much to me." Decorator paper is by Memory Box. Mojo Monday Challenge #187

Using the Mojo Monday sketch challenge for this week, I created this card using Heartfelt Creations rubber stamps. This is one of the springtime cardinal collections. I colored it with Copic Markers. As the square piece, I used the corner accent dies made by Spellbinders for Heartfelt Creations. Then I used the Parisian Accent border as the scallop edge. Papers are from Pink Paislee. Flower centers were using the Viva Pearl pens. The tag was my creation after doing a little altering to one of the new ribbon tag trio three spellbinder dies. Have a wonderful day!
