PPRS Blog Hop Day #1

It has finally come...the moment we can reveal the Prickley Pear Spring/Summer 2014 collection!  We are celebrating with a 3 day blog hop event!  Join us each day as our new Design Team showcases the new products.  As always, leave comments on each and every blog post along the way since there will be one winner selected for each day's comments!  We will select our winners on April 20th and they will be announced on April 21st in our Monday Inspiration Post.

If you have arrived here from Maureen's blog, you are on the right track!

Today I am using the new FF0174 Starburst Daisies and the EE0193 Starburst Daisies, small together to make this garden scene.  The flowers are colored with Distress Markers and stamped onto white card stock.  Then I used my removable scotch tape technique around the edges of the paper and sponged with the Gathered Twigs Distress ink.  Then I removed the tape and matted the paper into a green piece.  Then I used the CLR026 Mini Birds Clear set along with the matching D026 Mini Bird die.

Your next stop on the hop is Brenda's blog.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you enjoy the hop!!

Heidi your card is wonderful. I just love it! I really like the idea of removable tape and then inking. I'm going to have to give that a that.

I will have to try using removable tape to create an inked border. Love the hummingbird hovering over the flowers.
